THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
We live in the "jet age."
You can have breakfast in New York, lunch in Los Angeles, and dinner in Hong Kong.
But your luggage will probably be in Atlanta!
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
We do live in a "jet age."
We expect everything to be done FAST!
We have instant oatmeal, and fast-food restaurants are everywhere.
As a result, we have become an IMPATIENT society.
We "have NEED of PATIENCE!"
Impatience develops a disposition of continutal complaining.
When things do not happen as we expect, let us remember to take our
problems to God.
He is STILL in control.
And, He can give us PEACE.
Patience is developed when we put ourselves under God's control!
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
