THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
She was at the cash register and the ticket came to more than she had food stamps.
She was crushed, and embarrassed.
She began pulling items to the side, to take them off the ticket.
The man behind her had been patiently waiting.
But, instead of frowning, groaning, or making snide remarks,
he placed a $20.00 bill on the counter, and asked,
"Ma'am, may I have the privilege of offering help?
God had mercy on me when I was down, and this is my way of paying that blessing forward."
What a blessing!
1 A Psalm of David.
I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.
Notice the wording in the verse above.
God is merciful, and God is also Judge!
But God's mercy comes BEFORE His judgment!
I'm so thankful God had mercy on my sin-sick soul!
He came to me before I even knew I was lost.
And, when I surrendered to Him, He began a shower of mercy
that has never ceased!
If you have experienced the same,
PAY THE BLESSINGS FORWARD!
