THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
We Christians need to learn how to praise our God.
It is much more useful than learning Greek.
Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Yesterday, a friend of mine wrote:
“As I was praying a couple of weeks ago I thought, My prayer list keeps getting longer but my God gets bigger with each one.”
(Thanks Sandra, I needed that!)
PRAISE GOD, it is not by my works that I am justified!
For my works only show that I deserve no grace from God.
PRAISE GOD, it is by grace I am justified through faith in Jesus Christ!
His grace first called me, convicted me, and compelled me to confess Jesus as my Lord.
Were it not for His grace, I would never have heard the call!
PRAISE GOD, by that same grace, I am KEPT by the power of God!
It is in His grace that I “stand,” and live!
Therefore, I can “rejoice in hope of the glory of God!”
PRAISE GOD, by the grace of Christ, I am continually accepted before His mercy seat!
Too often, we Christians allow the things of the world to distract us from this wonderful grace.
PRAISE GOD, His grace expresses His love.
And, when we are “in Christ,” we can NEVER be separated from His love (Rom. 8:38-39)!
Jesus warned, “In the world ye shall have tribulation” (John 16:33).
PRAISE GOD, when we surrender to Jesus, He begins the process of salvation that never ends until
we are found at the throne of grace in eternal glory! (Philippians 1:6)
