THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Boudreaux bought his wife a piano.
Fontenot said, “My! Dat is nice of you!”
Next week, Fontenot saw Boudreaux on the street.
He asked, “Is Marie learning to play dat piano?”
Boudreaux said, “Oh. I persuaded her to change to the clarinet.”
Fontenot asked, “Why you did dat?”
Boudreaux said, “Well, when she’s playing the clarinet she can’t sing!”
O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
The above song begins with an invitation: “O COME, let us sing unto the LORD..”
I should praise Him.
You should praise Him.
WE should praise Him together!
I have a friend who says, “I can’t carry a tune; but I will make a “joyful noise!””
The term “joyful noise” (Hebrew ruwa’) means to make a LOUD noise in joyfulness.
Our praise to God should be STRONG and LOUD!
After all, He is the ALMIGHTY GOD, Who created all things!
He is the EVERLASTING FATHER, Who loves us with an everlasting love!
He is the SAVIOR, Who came to pay for our sins!
He is the PRINCE OF PEACE, Who came to offer salvation!
Let us all do as the Psalmist and INVITE people to praise the Lord.
And, when you are in worship service, lift your voice LOUDLY in praise time.
God is WORTHY of our praise!
Exhibit your JOY for His salvation!
