THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
A Christian who attended prayer meeting faithfully always
confessed the same things during testimony time.
His prayer was seldom varied: "O Lord, since we last
gathered together, the cobwebs have come between
us and Thee. Clear away the cobwebs, that we may
again see Thy face."
One day a brother called out, "O Lord God, kill the spider!"
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit,
and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication
for all saints;
LIGHT from the WORD.
Prayer for the Christian is the life-line between him/her and God.
Prayer should be a DAILY activity for the Christian.
Sometimes, we should spend MUCH time in prayer.
Sometimes, our prayers may be BRIEF.
But at ALL times, our prayer should be sincerely seeking
God and yearning for His presence.
Prayer is not just making requests.
confessing sins, believing in Christ for forgiveness;
praising God, for His faithful love and constant grace;
yearning for the power of His Holy Spirit closeness;
having communion, intimate fellowship with God;
resting in God's guidance, protection and provision.
And, prayer is not only for ME/YOU, but for OTHERS.
LISTEN to those around you discerning their needs.
Then, seek God for His intervention for them.
