THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

The "Rich Young Ruler" said he'd followed all the law.
But, he KNEW he was missing something.
He asked, "What lack I yet?" (Matt. 19:20)

In effect, Jesus told him, "give up YOUR life, and live for ME!"
(Matt. 19:21)

Luke 24:46-47
46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved
Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached
in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Christ has POWER to forgive sins!
His power was shown while He lived on earth. (Matt. 9:6)

His power of forgiveness comes through His willingness to "suffer"
and pay the price for all mankind.
He suffered on the cross.

On that cross He cried, "It is FINISHED!" (John 19:30)
The work He came to do was completed!
His blood, Holy blood, was shed for ALL mankind!

His power of forgiveness comes with His power over death.
Because He rose from the grave on the third day.
He conquered death, hell and the grave!

"Repentance and remission of sins" is preached in His Name
every day, all over the world.
But that does not mean everyone IS saved;
nor will everyone BE saved!

Salvation comes ONLY when we surrender to Jesus as Lord of who
we are, and let His power enter into our lives!
Christ’s power to forgive your sin is limited to your surrender!

It's a personal decision!
And it becomes personal relationship!

REPENTANCE comes BEFORE remission!

The "Kingdom of God is AT HAND" -- near, close!
"REPENT YE, and believe the Gospel!" (Mark 1:15)

Is living for Christ more important than living for you?

Love ya!
