I once taught a computer class.
We had several "drones" set up in the classroom,
which all worked off the main computer at my desk.
That way, I could monitor whatever the students were doing.

One day, I noticed that computer #5, was not busy with
the present assignment.
So, I looked up, and saw the student sitting there with his
arms crossed over his chest.
Then, a moment later, he began tapping his foot impatiently.

So, I walked over to his desk, and asked, "May I help you?"

He said, "Well, it's about time! I pressed the F1 button
for help 5 minutes ago!"

Psalm 34
11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me:
I will teach you the fear of the LORD. that he may see good?
13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their cry.

LIGHT from the WORD.

This song is a genuine source of encouragement!
David says he will "teach" us "the fear of the LORD."
That fear is the awesome reverence, or respect,
we should have toward God.

If we have that awesome reverence and respect for Jesus,
we should follow the advice of verses 13 and 14 in our
"fear of the LORD!"
After all, if His Spirit is in us, then He guides us.
He guides us to keep our tongues!
And He guides us to live in righteousness, seeking peace with others.

According to verse 15, our Lord is constantly watching over us.
This reminds me of 2Chronicles 7:14, which says,

Think of it!
Jesus is constantly watching over us to see what help He might give!

If you need help, in your daily life, press F1 in your heart for
the fear of the Lord to kick in.
Then, ask the Lord for help.
Remember, He's the One Who can influence others for you!

Love ya!
