"Pride vs Humility"
HI!
The scientist cloned himself 11 times.
So there were 12 of him.
He was so proud of himself because of the work.
Then, the angel of death came.
All 12 said, "you will not find the real one!"
The angel of death said, "Oh, yes. There is a
FLAW in one!"
Immediately the scientist jumped out and asked,
"Where?! Where is the flaw?"
The angel of death said, "Ah. YOU are the one!
Because the flaw is PRIDE!"

Pride goes against the Christian virtue of humility!
"The proud person always wants to do the right
thing, the great thing.
But because he wants to do it in his own strength,
he is fighting not with man, but with God!"

Pride was the sin which caused the devil to be
ejected from heaven!
Pride is the chief sin which turns eyes to SELF
rather than to GOD!
On the other hand, HUMILITY recognizes that
everything is a gift from God and that it is only
by His grace and the power of the Holy Spirit,
that we are able to breathe, think, and act!
All those in the Bible who are called saints first
recognized they were sinners!
Humility recognizes that we ALL have a great
NEED -- GOD!
"And the publican, standing afar off, would not
up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but
smote upon his breast, saying, Go be merciful
to me a sinner!" (Lk 18:13)
Humility causes one to realize he/she is a
sinner in need of a Savior God; THEN he/she
can become an effectivie instrument for God's
purposes.
