I remember when I bought my first lawnmower.
Many a lawn was cut with that thing the first summer.

When Fall came around, it wouldn't run.
And, I had 3 yards to be mowed.

When Dad came home, I asked him about it.
He went out and in 15 minutes had it purring.

He had found that the spark plug was worn.

I asked, "Why couldn't I figure that out?"

Dad said, "Well Son, you were probably thinking
about all the work you'd miss without that mower.
And, you probably were thinking more about the
problems and not thinking about a solution."

Phil 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever
things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever
things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever
things are of good report; if there be any virtue,
and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Light from the Word.

Too often our attitude needs altitude!

Often we find ourselves worrying so much about
what COULD happen in a situation we fail to see a
solution for the problem.

We must make a deliberate choice to think about
possibilities and not worry about probabilities.
That choice must come from the will (spirit of man within)
and not from the mind.
The will must train the mind!

Remember Christian, God's Spirit is working

First, think about what is "true!"
Not what MIGHT be, or what COULD happen; but
about what is actually "true!"

Then, thinking about the problem, channel the mind to think
about what's "good" and has "virtue."
Most of the time, something that happens can be used to
teach us a lesson.

Then, think about how you can "praise" the Lord through the situation.

TRAIN the mind!
Give your attitude some altitude!

Love ya!
