John's five-year-old son Mark couldn't wait to tell his friend about
the movie they had watched on television,
"20,000 Leagues Under the Sea."

The scenes with the submarine and the giant octopus had kept
him wide-eyed.

While Mark was excitedly sharing with his friend,
Dad interrupted him, "What caused the submarine to sink?"

With a look of incredulity Mark replied, "Dad, it was the 20,000 leaks!!"

Eccl 1:7
All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full;
unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.

LIGHT from the WORD.

In our text today, there is an important lesson from earth about God.
One need not look far in the heavens and earth to see there is
truly our God! (See Ps. 19:1)

This passage of Scripture deals with our relationship with God
and our relationship with others.

First, no matter how much we bring to God in prayer, He is never full!
And when we are needing blessings, He is always sending answers
to our prayers.

We send Him our problems: He sends us joy and hope!
"...of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace."
(See John 1:16)
Our Lord is a tremendous receiver,
and also a generous distributor of love.

Second, we are to be the same with others.
We are not "in tune" with God if we only take and do not return.
It is our duty to share with others the benevolent grace of God
which we constantly receive.
If the ocean never returned water through the rivers,
we would dry up and die!

Follow not the destructive path of selfishness!
"...know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge,
that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God."
(Eph 3:19)
Share His Fulness with others DAILY!

Be a RECEIVER and a DISTRUBUTOR of God's love!

Love ya!
