THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
What is brown, black, yellow, and red...
and watched constantly?
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
To what greater elevated status can a Christian claim than sons of God?
Born again: by the Spirit of the Living God!
He who states the Christian life is a miserable one because of restraints
has no comprehension of the immeasurable joy!
Rom 8:15 tells us,
For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear;
but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
We are knit to God as son to Father!
He is close enough, always, that we can call upon Him!
Daily, He fills our hearts with joy that is exceeding abundant, above all anyone can ask or think!
Constantly, He sends streams of light to our soul that remind us of our soon sunrise!
The Christian life is not known for restraints as much as for JOY!
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free,
and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)
Yes, sometimes we exhort others to surrender to Christ because of the fear of hell.
But let us exhort them more because of His JOY!
Christians are being watched constantly to see what they may have that others want.
May I echo Pauls admonishment:
Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. (Philippians 4:4)
