A man got on the train in Memphis, Tennessee at 10pm.
He told the conductor to wake him, and be SURE he got off in Jackson, Mississippi when the train arrived there.
He said, "I'm a little groggy when I first wake up. So don't pay attention to what I say. Just be SURE I get off the train in Jackson."

The next morning, the man woke up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana!
OH! He was MAD!

He found the conductor, and really chewed him out!

Now, a man from Baton Rouge had just boarded the train, and heard some of the discussion.
He said to the conductor, "Wowsee! Dat man was mad yeh!"

The conductor said, "Well, I bet he wasn't as mad as the man I put off the train in Jackson, Mississippi this morning!"

Psalm 11:1-4
1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. In the LORD put I my trust: How say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

This song is especially applicable to Christians in America today!

David questions why someone would tempt him to run away and hide just because the "wicked" are attempting to destroy him.

Indeed there are those who would try and destroy professors of righteousness today.
When we say abortion is murder we are called LIARS.
When we say homosexualism is wrong we are called INTOLERANT.
When we say gambling is wrong we are called IGNORANT.

But what would happen to society if the "foundations" (verse 2) were destroyed?
The world would be indescribably WORSE!

So, when you hear Christians speaking out against the evils of this world, encourage them!

Christians CANNOT sit in their easy chairs and allow society to go continually downhill without voicing a concern for morality!
We can not, indeed we MUST NOT, if we are truly born again, sit idly by and not speak out for that which is right!

After all, God is WATCHING!

"The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men."
(vs 4 above)

Christians, do not "Flee as a bird to his mountain!"

Else you may be mistaken on the train to glory!

Love ya!
