THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
It's not uncommon to have church feuds.
But when the pastor and choir director have differences...stand aside!
One week, the preacher spoke on commitment and dedication.
The choir director led the church to sing, "I Shall Not Be Moved."
Next week, the preacher spoke on giving.
The director led the church to sing, "Jesus Paid It All."
Next week, the preacher spoke on gossip.
The director led the church to sing, "I Love To Tell The Story."
Next week, the preacher said he was resigning.
The director led the church to sing, "Oh Why Not Tonight!"

Col 1:18
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead;
that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Jesus is the "head" of the Christian.
He is the One Who paid the price of our redemption.
He died in perfection, was raised in perfection;
and, He offered His perfection for our imperfection.
Jesus is the One Who will raise our corrupted bodies to incorruption.
He is the One Who offers immortality to our sinful mortal souls.
Jesus deserves to be the CENTER of all that we are!
Jesus is also the "head" of the church.
The church is "the body" of Christ on this earth.
A body can have only ONE "head!"
If we put all our individual focus on Jesus, there'll be less dissension in church!
If Jesus is not the head of the person, there is no salvation.
If Jesus is not the head of the church, all we have is a social organization.
Everything we, as Christians, do individually;
And, everything we, as a church, do cooperatively;
Should have a concentrated effort to give Jesus "preeminence!"
Love ya!
