THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
A five-year-old girl, was returning home from a funeral of her paternal grandmother.
She was riding in the car with her other grandmother.
She asked, "Where did Grandma go?"
The other grandmother answered, "We believe she went to heaven."
Child, "How old was she?"
Grandmother, "She was 83."
Child, "How old are you?"
Grandmother, "I'm 85."
Child, "I hope God hasn't forgotten you!"

Eph 1:12-14
12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel
of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed
with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the
purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

_______THOUGHT____________________________________
When we heard the gospel of Jesus Christ, we were first convicted.
Then we committed to Him as Lord, trusting Him to provide forgiveness
and salvation from the eternal consequence of sin.
THEN, Christ SEALED us in His Spirit.
And He NEVER forgets us!
We are sealed so that He can provide continued sanctification.
Each time we sin, He convicts us and calls us to repentance.
Then He is able to use us for His purposes.
We are sealed so that we may receive constant inspiration.
His Holy Spirit teaches us His Holy Word, and then helps us to recall that
Word during our daily lives.
It is in this way we have the desire to serve our Lord, Christ.
We are sealed in order to provide works that are acceptable to God.
There is nothing that we do on our own that is acceptable to God.
"For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." (Phil 2:13)
PRAISE GOD!
For if He did not SEAL us, we could not remain in His grace and receive His blessings!
PRAISE GOD!
For by His SEALING of us, He ordains us to ambassadorship for His purposes!
