THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

The average American family's ambition seems to be to earn as much as they spend!

The best advice for the average American family today: Act your WAGE!

*********************************************************************************************

Est 10:3
For Mordecai the Jew was next unto king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking the wealth of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed.
KJV

*********************************************************************************************

Mordecai was promoted because of his integrity. He became 2nd to the king in all matters!

But Mordecai, unlike most people, didn't LOSE his integrity! He continued in it.
Like Jesus, Mordecai sought to use his power for the benefit of the church.

We have many people of affluence and influence in the church today. Wouldn't it be wonderful if they all became like Mordecai?

Mordecai sought the "wealth" of the church. The Hebrew word translated "wealth" here can mean better, or best. Let us speak well of our Lord and of His church to all men, and promote her members as meaningful and useful. Let us speak the best of the church and show great esteem before others.

Mordecai also spoke "peace" to all the church. He spoke happily and friendly to all members. Let us speak well to all the members of the church. Let us seek to encourage and inspire each and every member.

Believers, you will bless the Lord if you use your talents and skills to further the esteem and promote the general welfare of the church.

We become more like Christ when we work more for others than for self.

Love ya,
Bruce
