THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Some people that see me driving down the road may think I’m “goofy.”
Usually, when I’m driving, I have a cd of gospel songs playing.
And, I’m singing along!
Some folk may think I’m talking to myself, or even rehearsing a sermon.
But, I’m just singing and praising the Lord!
Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his,
and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
When we sing, our brain releases endorphins.
That’s a chemical which makes us feel better.
Singing is actually a physical exercise.
It brings more oxygen into the body causing all our cells to be
For the Christian, singing is part of our praise to the Lord for all
He has done for us.
We remember He paid for our un-holiness with His holiness!
He exhibited His love on the cross!
He exhibited His power in rising from the grave!
He reveals Himself through His Word!
He soothes our soul with the presence of His Spirit!
”Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of His!”
Sing along with me:
”Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see;
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!”
