Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD:
for great is the glory of the LORD.
LIGHT from the WORD.
I once won 2nd prize in a singing contest.
Well, there were only 2 people entered.
I sang first, and they just awarded 1st prize to the other guy.
He didn't really have to sing.
Aren't you glad the Lord says, "Make a joyful NOISE to the
rock of our salvation?" (Ps. 95:1)
A friend once told me he saw me driving down the road,
and I was just "preaching away."
I told him, "No sir. I never preach in the car. But I DO
SING to the Lord!"
When you sing, you naturally sit or stand up straighter to get a better sound.
Singing also improves your lung capacity and helps you to breathe a little easier.
Singing to the Lord, or about the Lord, causes REJOICING in your heart!
(See Ps. 71:23 above)
We have received SO MUCH from our Lord!
We have SO MUCH for which we should be thankful!
Paul and Silas sang when they had been tossed in prison!
(See Acts 16:24)
After they sang, God opened the doors of the prison!
Perhaps God will open the doors of oppression, depression,
or anxiety for you!
SING unto the LORD!
