John’s “city” cousin came to visit him on the ranch.
They were just walking around talking, when the “city” cousin
noticed the cows.
“What a lovely bunch of cows,” he remarked.
“Not a bunch, herd,” John replied.

“Heard of what?”
“Herd of cows.”

“Of course I've heard of cows.”

“No, a cow herd.”

“What do I care what a cow heard. I have no secrets to keep from a cow.”

Sometimes, ya just can’t avoid trouble!

Ps 59:16
But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning:
for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.

Everyday may not be filled with sunshine, but
everyday can be filled with SONshine!

Sometimes the clouds cover the sky and the winds may be turbulent.
Sometimes circumstances “cloud” our spiritual reasoning.

Yes, “The path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” (Ps. 4:18)
Yet, we haven’t arrived at the “perfect day!”

Each day, until we reach that “perfect day,” we must bear the cross.
There are turbulent times.
There are rocks in the road.
There are thorns among the roses.
Sometimes, ya just can’t avoid trouble!

Remember, trouble exercises our faith to strengthen it!

Let’s continue looking through the circumstances to Jesus!
He is our “defense and refuge in the day of trouble!”

During the tough times, surrender all to Jesus in prayer.
Then, stand firmly in HIS PEACE!

Phil 4:6-7 says,
“6 Be careful (overanxious) for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

When dark clouds seem to cover your SONshine,
remember, He IS there!

Love ya!
