A little boy was sitting in the grocery basket as his father, a local pastor, shopped. All of a sudden, the little boy began to throw things out of the cart. Each time he would do so, the pastor would make a positive comment.
"Now Tommy, you are created in God's image."
"Tommy, you HAVE God's PRESENCE!"
"Tommy, you are blessed with and by God's grace."
A lady saw what the pastor was doing, and was just beaming with pride. She approached him and said, "Pastor, you sure are a good daddy. You speak to little Tommy so kindly and are teaching him with God's Word."

The pastor smiled back and said, "Thank you Ma'am. But my son's name is TIMMY, I'M Tommy!"

John 4:34-39
34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
37 And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.
38 I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours.
39 And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.

As Christians, sometimes we need to talk to ourselves!

Recently, I watched a video about a man named Jeremiah Landville who started a weekly prayer meeting in 1857. He started with only six men. But, within weeks, he was speaking on the purpose and power of prayer to over 1, 000 men each week as they gathered on the front steps of his business!

Then OTHER businessmen began to pick up on what Mr. Landville was doing. Soon there were prayer meetings going on all over the USA!

During the next year, 1858, more people were led to a personal life-saving relationship with Jesus than ever before in America!

There is no doubt that the greatest need in America today is a spiritual awakening to Christ. Harvest time is here now! Our work is to do God's will in our lives! A spiritual awakening can only happen around me, if it is happening in me!

We NEED prayer meetings!
We NEED revitalization in churches!
And above all, we NEED to see the church mobilized and effective in the USA today!

Let us "talk to ourselves" and consider what God would have us do.
Would He have us PRAY?
Would He have us begin a prayer meeting in our home?
Would He have us begin a prayer meeting in our business?

The converted Samaritan woman went and told a WHOLE town what Jesus had done for her.

Who are YOU telling?

Love ya,
