Pastor Clifford S. Stewart of Louisville, KY, sent his parents a microwave for Christmas. They couldn't make it work. He talked to them on the phone, and told them about the directions packet inside the shipping box. He sent them letters. Still, they couldn't get it to work.

Finally, he drove the 700 miles to where they lived, and showed them how to operate the microwave. While he was there, a next door neighbor came in and asked about the new microwave. Mom spoke up, "Oh, yes! We just needed our SON to come and show us how it works!"

2 Kings 25:27-30
27 And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, that Evil-merodach king of Babylon in the year that he began to reign did lift up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah out of prison;
28 And he spake kindly to him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon;
29 And changed his prison garments: and he did eat bread continually before him all the days of his life.
30 And his allowance was a continual allowance given him of the king, a daily rate for every day, all the days of his life.

Jehoiachin was saved from the ignominy of prison.
He was brought before the king and kept before the king.
He was given a supply that kept him without need each day.

Think about it. Think about the spiritual supply of strength we receive from our Lord DAILY.

Jehoiachin did not receive a supply that was ample for years, but DAILY he received his needs. Isn't that the same as our Lord does for us? DAILY we receive that which is needed.

Jehoiachin had a place provided in the king's court. Aren't we, as Christians, provided a place in the King's court? DAILY we are to appear before Him.

Jehoiachin was given ENOUGH, and MORE than he deserved. Yet, he was totally dependent upon the king for his daily supply.

We have a sure supply of spiritual strength from our Lord to meet the needs of every day. Jesus is, and He eternally is. Therefore, we shall never need for spiritualy strength for He has more than enough to meet our needs.

We have a promised supply from our Lord. He has promised us that "whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." (Matt 21:22)

We have a perpetual supply from our Lord. It is constantly appropriated by His mercy. And by His grace we receive daily.

In the Word, by prayer and meditation, we receive all that is need for our daily work and ministry. We can come before the Throne of Glory and find peace and strength for each day.

My Christian friend, be assured of your constant supply of spiritual strength.
And come before the Thone of Glory daily to enjoy its provision.

"Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need." (Heb 4:16)

Love ya,
