THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

He pulled into the parking lot of the mall and rolled all the car windows
down a little to make sure his Labrador Retriever had fresh air.
She was stretched out in the back seat, and he wanted to impress on
her to stay there.

So he backed away from the car, pointing his finger and saying,
"STAY! STAY!"

The driver of a nearby car looked at him strangely and said,
"Why don't you just put it in park?"

Light from the Word.

Perhaps it would be good to have the ability to put animals and
some people in "park" for awhile.

As Christians we have an obligation to pray for our leaders.
God teaches us that we are to pray for them diligently if we want
to "lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty."

As Christians we also have an obligation to the citizenry of our local
community, State, and nation.
When leaders utilize their authority to do wrong, it causes GRIEF for
the people.

When "political correctness" opposes moral rightness, Christians need
to both PRAY and ACT!

What might happen if Christians everywhere stopped each evening for
just 5 minutes to pray about our moral incorrectness in the USA?

CHANGE might really come!

STAY!
Stay on prayer!

And SPEAK UP!
Try to introduce Jesus and the Word of God into every conversation.

Love ya!
