"STRENGTHENING FAITH"
Driving down the road, with attention to
being on time for work, all of a sudden:
you become aware of heightened
excitement.
Your heart begins racing.
You had just passed a sign that said,
"SPEED LIMIT 35," but you are going
50!
And now there are red & blue lights
flashing behind you!

Ps. 68:28
Thy God hath commanded thy strength:
strengthen, O God, that which Thou hast
wrought for us.
KJV
_______THOUGHT______________
Too often we haste into the day, like the
speeding driver above, and forget the
anchoring principle of faith!
For the saved, God has "commanded thy strength."
He who has SAVED us will also PRESERVE us!
It is His strength that keeps us unto the final day of
salvation, ready to be revealed at the last day.
(See 1Peter 1:5)
Faith is "...that which God has wrought for us."
He gives it to all who have surrendered their
eternal trust to Him by yielding our lives
to Christ as MASTER.
Therefore, we must call upon God to:
"strengthen" that faith every day.
And we must apply OURSELVES to strengthening
that faith by our commitment of trust.
Too often, God has to stop us with a spiritual
speeding ticket!
We need to pull over, sit quietly, and become
immersed in His presence.
It is then, that we have worked toward
strengthening our faith by ASKING the Lord
to HELP us in strengthening.
And, all of a sudden, we see the clock of time
slow down, and visualize the POWER of
FAITH!
