Think about it: The weekend includes both the
LAST day of the week and the FIRST day of the week.
Many people shout a loud HALLELUJAH at 5pm on Friday,
but won't even say a quiet AMEN on Sunday!
Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath
of rest, holy to the LORD:
whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day,
he shall surely be put to death.
LIGHT from the WORD.
Do you think God was SERIOUS about the "sabbath"?
Jesus was serious about the sabbath day.
"as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the
sabbath day, and stood up for to read."
Not only did Jesus attend; but He took an
active role in contributing to the worship.
Now, the Bible tells us that Jesus AROSE from the dead
on the FIRST day of the week.
Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of
the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of

SONday is also a time to encourage one another,
and be spiritually charged to face the rest of the week.
Be SERIOUS about THE LORD'S DAY!
Give the Lord the FIRST day of your week, and
He will help you through the REST of the week!
