We are beginning to see some very clear results from the teaching of abstinence in schools.
Birth rates in the USA dropped in all ages and races for the THIRD year in a row.
The most dramatic drop was in teens and women in their early 20’s (9% last year).
A recent report published by the Heritage Foundation states that when adolescents are educated
regarding abstinence and consequently pledge to maintain their virginity, they have lower rates of

Young people who make deliberate public pledges to remain virgins are likely to
substantially delay the initiation of sexual activity, have fewer sexual partners, and are more
likely to marry.
Sexual intimacy before marriage increases the risk of disease.

sexually transmitted diseases, and improving emotional and physical well-being among the
