Today's Devotion:
"TEACH the CHILDREN"
Most folk would be surprised at what
some children KNOW!
The teacher asked one student to start
a sentence with the letter I.
Student: I is...
Teacher: Wait. You should say I am...
Student: Ok. I am the ninth letter of
the alphabet.
Most folk would also be surprised to
learn what young children know that
they SHOULD NOT know!
_______SCRIPTURE____________
Deut. 6:4-7
4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is
one LORD:
5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God
with all thine heart, and with all thy soul,
and with all thy might.
6 And these words, which I command thee
this day, shall be in thine heart:
7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto
thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou
sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest
by the way, and when thou liest down, and
when thou risest up.

_______THOUGHT______________
Parents take note!
Children are to be taught the Bible BY
the parents as the children are growing.
The Scripture says teach them DILIGENTLY!
The Scripture is quite clear: make every
moment and occasion an opportunity to
teach Godly principles from the Word of God!
It is important to teach the Bible EARLY to
children at home.
It has been proven that repetition of principles
increases learning capacity.
A teaching moment can become a FUN time
when parents help young children to learn
(not just memorize) short passages of
Scripture.
What children learn at an early age, aids
them in making correct decisions as they
grow.
Work the lessons of learning the Bible into
everyday life; a part of daily routine.
Perhaps the greatest lesson a child can
learn at ages 1-4 is God IS, and He
WATCHES and knows everything we do!
If we do not teach them Biblical truths
before they begin kindergarten, they will
learn WRONG things!
TEACH the CHILDREN!
And USE the BIBLE!
Love ya!
