THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

Brad Wilcox received a “B-“ on a theme paper in high school.
It was Valentine’s Day.
Brad thought he might better his grade by sending the teacher a valentine.

He bought a big red box of chocolates.
Across the top he placed the letters, “BE MINE!”

Next day, he received a valentine from the teacher.
A note was written on the inside.

“Thanks! But it’s still B MINUS!”

1 John 3:1
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us,
that we should be called the sons of God:
therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

THOUGHT____________________________________

The word “Charity” is translated from the Greek agape, which means love.

It is the kind of love that gives without thought of return.
Thus, the English word “Charity” was used.

How often do you think of love being given without thought of return?

John 3:16 says,
“For God so loVed the world,
..........that He gAve
..............His onLy
..............begottEn
....................SoN
........................That whosoever
......... believeth In Him
............ should Not perish
......... but have Everlasting life.”

Now THAT’S “charity!”
THAT’S LOVE!

Love ya!
