The $1 bill and the $20 bill were having a discussion.
The $1 bill said, "Yes, I'm about worn out! I've been through almost every type of cash register there is; and through many churches."

The $20 bill asked, "What's a church?"

Hag 1:9
Ye looked for much, and, lo, it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the LORD of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house.

A little boy and his dad were eating at a restaraunt.
The waitress brought the bill.
Dad paid the amount of the bill, and added 20% for the waitress.
The little boy asked, "Dad, why does the waitress get 20%, but God only gets 10%?"

Indeed. Why should the government take 20%+, when God gets less than 10%?

"He that hasteth to be rich hath an evil eye, and considereth not that poverty shall come upon him." (Prov 28:22)

Scripture teaches that withholding from God brings poverty to ourselves!
When God's house stands neglected, it soon stands empty!
When God's house stands empty, teaching of truth in the nation is reduced!
When teaching of truth is reduced, the results are bad government!

Neglecting the things of God brings ruin to ourselves!

"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it." (Malachi 3:10)

"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
(2Chronicles 7:14)
