THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
It's not the years of the life that count,
it's the life in the years.
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
How many of us can say we have truly "crucified" ourselves with Christ?
Yet, that is the only way to receive salvation.
Jesus died on the cross to become what we NEEDED.
We must meet Him at the cross and become what He WANTS!
Truly, self is the greatest idol!
The only manner of life for the Christian is to "live by faith of the Son of God."
We must put aside our own desires, and live by Christ's desires.
We accomplish nothing in and of ourselves.
We can't earn salvation.
We wouldn't even be breathing if it weren't for the grace of God!
Neither can we earn grace and favor with God after we are saved.
When we crucify self, and give Jesus the wheel to our car, grace is "poured out!"
When we live "by faith" in Christ, humbly submitting ourselves to His will,
God gives CONSTANT grace (1Peter 5:5).
What is the life in your years?
