THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Marj and John were in high school.
They decided to “go steady.”
She gave him a picture of her that was in a frame.
He wanted the picture blown up, so he took it to a photo shop.
The photographer took the picture out of the frame after John had left.
He saw a note on the back of the picture.
It said, “To John: I will love you ALWAYS!”
“PS – when we break up, I want this picture back.”
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
Jesus’ love for His people is described as being the same as the Father’s love for Him!
His love is unending.
He loved us before the world was created, and shall love us throughout eternity.
“Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.”
His love is immutable.
He cannot change, and His love does not change.
For He is the same, “yesterday, to day, and forever” (Heb. 13:8)
His love is immeasurable.
Is it possible for us to “be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.” (Eph 3:18-19)
”The King of love my Shepherd is,
Whose goodness faileth never;
I nothing lack if I am His
And He is mine forever.”
