A young, European pilot flew into a Congo airport and ordered his plane filled with "petrol." This is the term for gasoline in Britain, but in Congo it means kerosene!

The young attendant tried to help. He asked, "Don't you mean "essence," sir?"
The young pilot, with a brash order said, "NO! When I say petrol, I mean petrol."

The young attendant did as the pilot said. It took a whole day to get his engine cleaned out!

John 10:9
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

Jesus is the ONLY door to eternal life with God.
Jesus is a WIDE door and open to all who come in surrender.
Jesus is a SAFE door and will secure eternal blessing to all who come.

There are four blessings mentioned here for those who come in surrender to Christ:

First, "he shall be SAVED!" Just as Noah entered the ark door and was saved from the flood, so is any man if he enters the door of Christ. He shall be saved by the blood because he shall be sealed in the Spirit. He shall be washed clean and presented faultless in the robes of Christ's righteousness. Judgment shall consist of one word: ACQUITTED!

Second, he shall be able to "go in." A person who enters through Christ, is able to have sweet communion with God at any time and in any place. Through surrender to Christ a person receives the adoption of sons, and is able to enter the church for education, fellowship and mission ministry.

Third, he shall be able to "go out." A person joined to Christ is able to go "out" and testify to the joy of his salvation. He is able to go "out" and share Jesus with anyone. He is given the power to do so by his communion with Christ.

Fourth, he shall be able to "find pasture." The Spirit of God will be water to his soul and living waters coming from his soul. The Word of God will be his food, and sustain him with great strength. He will be like the sheep of David's pasture in Psalm 23, "I shall NOT WANT!"

What a great God we have Who has come incarnate to the world and provided this wonderful OPEN DOOR!

Have you entered in?
Are you helping others enter?

Love ya,
