THOUGHT________________________________

LIGHT from the WORD.

Exercising the body does have a "little" affect.
It helps your body have balance and ability to perform daily tasks.

For instance, there are 6 basic exercises to tone your body.
Sit ups, push ups, squats, arm circles, & toe touches.
Doing 30 of each (in 10 in 3 sets) 3 or 4 times per week,
will keep your body toned.
Then, one needs to add a little running time for physical
endurance.

Physically, growing older gracefully depends upon how you
treat your body.

Now, let's talk about your spiritual life.

There are some exercises you can perform to tone
your spiritual life also.

Bible Study
Not just reading, but studying.
Try picking one book of the Bible, and study to learn.
Determine meaning and life application.
Take notes in a notebook.

PRAYER
Not just static prayer once per day, but being in an
attitude of prayer ALL day.
Try praying silently for people you see during the day.

VISITING
Visit with friends when they are ill or in the hospital.
Visit neighbors to share Jesus with them.
Visit with a plan to pray with others and to lead
them to Christ if possible.

ATTENDANCE
Don't just BE there, be USABLE in church!
For instance, take on a responsibility like teaching a class.

GIVING
Not just tithing but GIVING.
Giving means MORE than just 10%!
Remember, "God loves a cheerful giver!"
(2Cor. 9:7)

TONE UP your spiritual life!
DO the exercises!
