THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS

DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

In a small town two lawyers were engaged in a heated debate in the court.
One accused the other of lying.
So, they called their high school teacher as a character reference.

1st lawyer, "Mrs. ...., do you know Mr. ...., the lawyer sitting at that table?"
Mrs..... "Yes, I've known him since he was a little boy. He lies, he cheats,
and he is known for shady deals."

1st Lawyer, "And, Mrs..... do you know me?"
Mrs....."Yes, I've known you since you were a little boy.
And, I know that you are running around on your wife."

The judge interrupted the proceedings, and called the two lawyers to side bar.
He said, "If either of you ask her if she knows me, I will put you in jail!"

Rom 3:26
To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might
be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

THOUGHT____________________________________

The righteousness of God is declared in the Person of Jesus Christ.
Jesus, being God in flesh, willingly gave His life on the cross
for the purpose of offering man the ONLY acceptable sacrifice to
God for sin.

He declared the righteousness of God in that God is willing to pay
that price to redeem man from slavery to sin. (2Pet. 3:9)

God is JUST!
Always fair, impartial, Holy, right and righteous.
This eternal characteristic is important in God's eternal judgment of man.

Through Jesus Christ, God becomes the "Justifier" of all those who
have surrendered to Jesus as Lord.

God is the Judge!
He is a JUST Judge!
And, He grants ACQUITTAL for all sin to those who have given their
lives over to Jesus.

God is also "just" to be the Judge Who condemns all who REFUSE
Jesus Christ as Lord of their lives!

The only TRUE justice is when God is the JUDGE!

Love ya!
