DAILY DEVOTIONS

Today's Devotion:
"TRUST and WHOM to TRUST"

Grandpa took his granddaughter
shopping.
In the mall parking lot, Grandpa
carefully made sure the car
doors were locked.

Granddaughter asked, "Grandpa
don't you trust God?"

He answered, "Oh...most
certainly; but people? NO!"

________SCRIPTURE________

Ps. 91:1-2
1 He that dwelleth in the secret
place of the most High shall abide
under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, He is my
refuge and my fortress: my God;
in Him will I trust.
KJV

________THOUGHT___________

When we REMAIN in the
CLOSENESS of the Lord, we
come under His divine
PROTECTION!

The LORD is the self-existent,
eternally Holy God.
He is the "ALMIGHTY" GOD!

In 1Pet. 5:8, the BIble teaches
us to be on HIGH ALERT.
The ole "...devil. as a roaring
lion, walketh about, seeking
whom he may devour."

And, the devil USES people!

So, yes! I TRUST in the LORD!
But, at night, I LOCK my doors.
That's being ALERT!

Trouble is IN the world, because
ALL people are not
TRUSTWORTHY!

As Paul Harvey used to say,
"Here is the REST of the story."

God DOES say trust in the Lord
for protection, and provision.

But also, God says, be
PREPARED as you are holding
to God in trust, because
troubles DO come along!

Love ya!
