THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
To take up residence.
To meditate upon for a great length of time.
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith;
LIGHT from the WORD.
In Paul's prayer for the church at Ephesus (See Eph. 3:14-19),
he prays that "Christ may dwell in" their hearts.
Paul does not pray that Christ visit their houses (bodies);
but that He takes up residence in their HEART!
When Christ is in your heart, then you are intertwined
That means you are STRONGER!
And this is our prayer for Christians today.
That Christ may be:
Not just in your thoughts, but in your affections!
Not only in your meditations, but in your emotions!
Not just in an outer showing, but in the inner being!
For if Christ dwells in your heart, He will rule your decisions!
When Christ dwells in your heart, you will be filled with
Filled to OVERFLOWING!
When Christ dwells in your heart, you will care about others
to the point of GIVING SELF!
Regardless of the cost!
When Christ dwells in your heart, He will change your inner
being, so that your outward behavior also changes.
Does Christ dwell in YOUR heart?
