DAILY DEVOTIONS

HI!

A judge came into the court room and said,
"I have a reputation for being honest and incorruptible by bribery.
But both the attorney for the defense and the attorney for the
plantiff have tried to bribe me.
The plaintiff has given a check for $5,000.
The defendent has given a check for $10,000.
I'm going to return $5,000 to the defendent and try this case
based solely upon the evidence!"

SCRIPTURE______________________________

Zech 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem:
behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation;
lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

LIGHT from the WORD.

Aren't you glad we have an eternal Judge, Jesus, Who is totally
honest and will judge every person fair and impartially?

He is the King of all creation!
And He offers a wonderful kingdom.

It is a kingdom of JOY!
Our Scripture says "Rejoice greatly!"
That's exuberant, jumping and shouting joy!
Christian, are you excited about being washed clean and
presented spotless before God by the Lamb of God?

It is a kingdom of LIFE!
That life is not only eternally continual, but it is of better quality than
we can ever imagine.
Jesus said, "I am come that they might have life, and that they
might have it more abundantly."
(John 10:10)

It is a kingdom of LOVING KINDNESS AND PEACE!
Jesus is the Prince of Peace (See Is. 9:6).
One day, God will bring us totally into a kingdom where there
is total peace.
But right now we have, through Christ, "the peace that passeth
all understanding"
by faith in Him! (See
Ppns. 4:6-7)>br?

It is a kingdom of JUSTNESS!
Our Scripture says "..HE is just.."
Since we are sinners, defiled, we cannot be justified before God
on our own merit.
But we are "justified freely by His grace through the redemption
that is in Christ Jesus."
(See Rom. 3:24)

Most of all, it is a kingdom of SALVATION!
Our Scripture says "...having salvation.."
It is His to own, and His to give!
Salvation literally means to be "plucked from the pit."
By grace in Christ, you were "plucked from the pit" of eternal hell
by His life of love.
And you are given forgiveness, acquittal, and eternal life.

Be EXCITED my Christian friend!
REJOICE GREATLY!
And share this wonderful news with others today!

Love ya!
