"The LAMB Of Good Friday"
Why do we call it GOOD FRIDAY?
It certainly isn't good that man would
crucify his GOD!
However, it IS good that GOD would
be willing to pay THAT price for our
salvation.

John 1:29
The next day John seeth Jesus coming
unto him, and saith,
Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh
away the sin of the world.

Matt 27:51
And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent
in twain from the top to the bottom; and the
earth did quake, and the rocks rent; ...."

At 3pm on Passover Friday, the High Priest
was to offer a lamb for the sins of the people.
It was on that day, at that hour, that Jesus
yielded up the ghost... ( Matt. 27:50).
On that day God paid to God the price of man’s
salvation – His OWN blood!
That blood is the ONLY righteous and acceptable
price for the sins of all mankind.
On that day God provided man ATONEMENT!
For your life is not bought with gold or silver,
"But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb
without blemish and without spot:" (1Pet. 1:19).
At the same time (3pm) Jesus cried out
"IT is FINISHED!" (John 19:30)
And, it was then that "...the veil of the temple was
rent in twain from the top to the bottom!" (Matt 27:51)
No longer would little lambs be needed for sacrifice!
The way is NOW OPEN to the Holy Presence of God
through JESUS!
YOU can come to God in prayer ANYTIME through
surrender to Jesus as Lord!! ( Heb. 4:15-16)
And, THAT is why it is called "GOOD FRIDAY!"
