DAILY DEVOTIONS

Today's Devotion:
"The LITTLE SEAT"

A Boeing 737, fully loaded, can weigh
up to 174,200lbs.
That's 87.1 TONS!

Comparatively, a passenger seat is a
very small thing.
But if one GETS IN the seat, that
Boeing 737 can carry him/her a very
LONG way.

_______SCRIPTURE____________

Gen. 49:22-24
22 Joseph is a fruitful bough, even a fruitful
bough by a well; whose branches run over
the wall.
23 The archers have sorely grieved him,
and shot at him, and hated him.
24 But his bow abode in strength, and the
arms of his hands were made strong by the
hands of the mighty God of Jacob; (from
thence is the shepherd, the stone of Israel:)
KJV

_______THOUGHT______________

When Jacob was pronouncing his final
blessings upon his sons, the above
Scripture is what he stated about Joseph.

Joseph's life was made strong by the
inexhaustible power of God, in Whom Joseph
DWELLED.

Joseph placed himself in the SEAT of
God's mighty hands.

The engines of a big Boeing 737 lift ALL
the over 200 seats into the air.
But one must be IN a seat to be carried!

The power of God can energize our lives
to abilities beyond what we might have
believed.
But one must be IN the seat of God's power!

Philippians 2:13 says, "For it is GOD that
worketh IN you both to will and to do of His
good pleasure."

Truly, our Lord can LIFT you, and CAUSE
you to desire and perform those things which
please Him!

Have you placed yourself in the LITTLE
SEAT?

Love ya!
