HI!
A man reached the pinnacle age of 105.
He was being interviewed by a TV reporter.
The reporter asked, "There sure have been lots of changes
in this world since you've been born.
Can you tell us about your experiences with some of them?"
The man said, "Yup! There's been lots of 'em all right.
And I been agin' most of 'em!"

LIGHT from the WORD.
Focus for a moment on the thought: God is immutable.
He is unchangeable!
He is always the same!
Think of it.
God's passion does not change.
His compassion does not change.
His plan does not change.
He always has the passion to save souls.
He always has the compassion to forgive.
He always stays with the plan to forgive and save all who
come to Him.
And He will always forgive when we willingly and openly
confess our sin to Him!
Our text says, it is because of this immutable love of God that
He did not totally wipe out Israel.
Even though they were involved in the most gross forms of idolatry,
God still saved a "remnant" who would serve Him.
He didn't have to do that; but that was His plan from the beginning.
He planned to use Israel to deliver the Messiah!
His plan is total redemption!
He will not vary from that plan.
If you have surrendered to Christ, God will one day, by His grace,
love and power, bring you to the completion of that plan!
Because God is immutable, He is ALWAYS faithful to you
as His child!
Now, please answer this question truthfully:
Is your love for Him the same as it was the day you first
surrendered to Him?
If it is not, then meet him on your knees in confession and repentance!
God ALWAYS stays with His plan!
And, if you have never surrendered to Christ, it is STILL God's plan
to bring you to SALVATION!
Love ya!
