EVIDENCE?"

Heb. 11:1-2
1 Now faith is the substance of things
hoped for, the evidence of things not
seen.
2 For by it the elders obtained a
good report.

The Scripture here tells us there is
EVIDENCE when a person is genuinely
saved!
First, faith is SUBSTANCE!
Trust placed in Jesus brings to our
hearts the axis of life.
Around faith revolves everything we do!
Second, faith is EVIDENCE.
The result of faith working IN us, produces
evidence THROUGH us.
For instance, the real Christian will be:
studying the Bible,
praying often,
not only attending church, but active IN it,
sharing the good news of Christ with
others.
Third, faith yields a "good report."
The true Christian will be revealed in:
conversations that hold God in reverence,
a caring attitude toward others,
an attitude of kindness, and
a genuine concern for those who do not
have Christ in their lives.
If we have the "substance," let us
exhibit the "evidence" and give a "good
report" with our lifestyle.
Is Jesus the "main course" in your life?
