"The PRESENCE of the LORD"

Have you ever just felt overwhelmed and
you longed for someone who was special
to you to be there?

Lots of people have said:
"I sure miss my mom!" or,
"I sure miss my dad!"

Ps. 16:11
Thou wilt shew me the path of life:
in Thy presence is fulness of joy;
at thy right hand there are pleasures
for evermore.

Ps. 46:1
"...God is our refuge and strength, a
very present help in trouble.

_______THOUGHT______________

When our daughter was little, she had asthma
very often.
Sometimes that would cause her to have
pneumonia, and we would have to stay in
the hospital.

Once, Ann had been with her all day in the
hospital.
When I got off work that night, I went to the
hospital to stay with our daughter while Ann
went home to get some rest.

I sat down in the chair beside her bed, and
our daughter held out those little hands and
said, "Daddy, would you HOLD me?"

Of course I put her in my lap and just held
her until she went to sleep.

I'm so thankful that our Holy Lord has the
greatest compassion!

At ANY time, we can go to Him in prayer,
and He will just "hold" us in His Spirit!

We can KNOW His "PRESENCE!"
He becomes our "STRENGTH!"
His presence takes us from sadness to "JOY!"
And, just knowing He is there, we have COMFORT!

When we feel overwhelmed, you can call out
to God.
He will HEAR and will LEAD us to HIGHER GROUND!

"From the end of the earth will I cry unto Thee,
when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the Rock
that is higher than I."
(Ps. 61:2)
