DAILY DEVOTION

HI!

In a suburb a Christian couple lived right next door to
an atheist.
Suddenly, the Christian husband died.

The wife received very little social security, and things
were difficult.
Every morning she would go out on the front porch
and pray.

The atheist, next door, ridiculed her saying, "There is
no God. He cannot supply your need."

One day, when she went out to pray, there were 3
bags of groceries on the porch!

The lady raised her hands and said, "PRAISE JESUS!"

The atheist spoke from his window, "I bought those,
Jesus didn't!"

The lady calmly raised her hands again and said,
"PRAISE JESUS! Thank You for the groceries!
And, I even thank You, Jesus, for this
devilish messenger You USED!"

riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

LIGHT from the WORD.

Sometimes, God supplies our need through employment.
Sometimes, when we can't work, God supplies our need
through benefactors.
Either way, it is GOD Who supplies the ability to work,
or the grace of another!

The manner in which God supplies all our need is through
"His riches in glory by Christ Jesus!"
His ability to provide is INEXHAUSTIBLE!!
Because "His riches in glory" include His:
omniscience, omnipresence, and omnipotence!

The Bible teaches us that to Jesus Christ is given
"all power ... in heaven and earth!"
(See Matt. 28:18)
Even in this universe in which we live, it is by
Jesus that "all things consist!"

Therefore, God's "riches in glory" are given
through "Christ Jesus."

It is BY Christ Jesus mankind has received the grace of
God which offers eternal salvation!!

Let us give to "God and our Father" the
"glory for ever and ever."

PRAISE GOD for "His riches in glory" given to us
"BY Christ Jesus!"
