"The SEED"
CHRISTmas is not about the decorated
tree.
It is about the promises of God fulfilled.

Gen. 3:15
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman,
and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise
thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

_______THOUGHT______________
As we look toward CHRISTmas, let's look at the
PROMISES of God.
The FIRST promise came when God expelled
Adam and Eve from the garden.
God spoke directly to them about the future.
God told Eve and the deceiving serpent that
there would be "enmity" or war between them.
Her "seed" would be the CONQUERING Lord
of TRUTH.
Satan's "seed" would be evil concoction of
LIES!
Now, according to scientific research, the
woman has eggs and the man has seed.
But GOD!
God is stating a MIRACLE will happen.
One day, God promises, a woman's seed will
happen!
And, He (that Seed) will "bruise" the serpent's
HEAD!
This is called the protoevangelium.
It is the first mention of the "good news" or
"Gospel" of the coming Christ.
Satan's deceit and lies had appealed to the
weakness of mankind, and brought SIN
into the world.
But the coming "SEED" will one day win
the battle over sin, death, and the grave!!
The miracle of the "SEED" brings forth the
"salvation of the Lord" (Lam. 3:26).
God has ALWAYS had a PLAN to save
mankind from himself!
