When NASA first started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered that
ballpoint pens would not work in zero gravity.

To combat the problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 billion to
develop a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside down, underwater, on almost
any surface including glass and at temperatures ranging from below freezing
to 300 C.

The Russians used a pencil.

Luke 15:1-2
1 Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.
2 And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man
receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.

Might we ask some questions about "this Man?"

is "this Man" that "receiveth sinners?"
Jesus is His Name.
He is Holy God and wholly man.
In Jesus "dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily." (Col 2:9)
He is the visible "image of the invisible God." (Col. 1:15)
By Him were all things created and in Him all things are sustained. (Col 1:15-17)
Jesus is the One Who "took upon himself the form of a servant, and was made
in the likeness of men..."
(Philippians 2:7)
He is the One Whom death could not hold! For, He is RISEN!
(Matt. 28:6, Mark 16:6)

does Jesus receive "sinners?"
Because of His great LOVE for mankind (John 3:16).
In order to make "atonement" for our sins against God (Rom. 5:11).
To grant justification our souls before God (Rom. 3:24).
To securely preserve our souls by the indwelling of His Holy Spirit (Eph. 1:13).
And, to give us an eternal home in which there is no sickness, sorrow, nor death
- because there'll be no sin there (Rev. 21:1-4).

does Jesus receive "sinners?"
By simply believing and confessing that "Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of
God the Father."
(Matthew 10:32-33, Romans 10:9-10, Philippians 2:11)

What a great God-man is Jesus to receive sinners such as I!!
Jesus makes salvation SIMPLE!

Love ya!
