THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
Little faith will bring your soul to heaven.
Great faith will bring heaven to your soul.
2 Cor 5:6-9
6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
To believe something is to accept it as truth.
And, if one believes something, then that person will act on the belief.
One night a fire broke out in the house.
The flames were so strong on the 1st floor of the house, the little boy
on the second floor fled to the roof.
His father stood aside from the house and said, “Jump! I’ll catch you!”
All the little boy could see was smoke and flames.
He yelled, “But Dad, I can’t SEE you!”
The father called back, “But I can see YOU, that’s what counts. Jump!”
The boy jumped, and his father caught him.
This world is aflame with shock, fear, and the unknown.
We may not see the Father, but we can believe the truth of the Bible.
Therefore, we LIVE “by faith, not by sight!”
And, as long as we’re here on this earth, we will “labour” in faith,
so that our living might be well-pleasing to God.
ACT on that belief in faith!
