Today's Devotion:
"Turbulence Requires HELP"
An older cousin, Bill, was showing Todd how
to cross the river on horseback.
Todd kept looking down at the rolling waves.
Suddenly he began swaying with dizziness.
Bill moved close and held Todd's shoulder.
"Look UP at the hills ahead," he said.
Quickly, Todd looked up and regained his
balance.
_______SCRIPTURE____________
Ps. 121:1-2
1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from
whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made
heaven and earth.

_______THOUGHT______________
Perhaps Ps. 121:1 could be stated as a
question.
"From where shall I find help? I will look UP
to the hills!"
My uncle Bob used to sing a song, "Somebody
Bigger Than You And I."
"Who made the mountains, who made the trees
Who made the rivers flow to the sea
And who sends the rain when the earth is dry
Somebody bigger than you and I."
Looking at the turbulence in the world, we
sometimes become spiritually dizzy.
If we LOOK UP to our Lord, He will help us
regain balance!
Turbulence requires HELP!
We need FOCUS!
Our HELP comes from a spiritual focus on
the LORD!
Hebrews 12:2 says, "Looking unto Jesus the
author and finisher of our faith; who for the
joy that was set before him endured the cross,
despising the shame, and is set down at the
right hand of the throne of God."
When the world around you is fraught with
difficulties, LOOK UP!
Get your focus on JESUS!
Love ya!
