"Two Laws"

Rom. 8:1-2
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to
them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not
after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus
hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

_______THOUGHT______________
Most folk try to evade the truth of the "law of sin
and death."
It is the law of CONDEMNATION!
But it is also the first law of REALIZATION!
The "soul that sinneth, it shall die." (Ezek. 18:4)
So, one may ask, what exactly is sin?
The answer is: ANYTHING which is perversion
of God's PURPOSE in creating man.
God's purpose in creating man was to grant
man honor and dignity and dominion.
(Gen. 1:26-28)
Our sin can be defined as:
Simple
Instruction
Neglected.
Now, the "law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus"
RELEASES man from the "law of sin and death."
This law involves being "IN Christ Jesus."
It is repentance from neglecting God's
instruction, believing Jesus is God, and giving
ourselves to live with His Spirit IN us.
God, in His love and mercy, has offered eternal
honor and dignity through the sacrifice of Christ.
When we surrender to Christ, and live by His
Spirit, we are RELEASED from the condemnation
of sin - which is separation from God Who is LIFE.
Thank God for coming in the Person of Christ!!
Thank God for His mercy and grace which allows
us to live "in Christ!"
These two laws reflect both the DEPRAVITY of man,
and His NEED for God's salvation through Christ.
