THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
The national anthem of hell is:
"I Did It MY Way!"
And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
2 Tim 2:1
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
"Grace" comes from the Greek word charis.
It means benefit, favor, gift, liberality, joy.
The mercy of God saw our sin and had compassion upon us.
The grace of God is the channel by which He brought (and brings) salvation.
Until the ultimate end (in eternal glory), salvation is a continuing process.
The reservoir of grace is in Christ Jesus.
His grace is continually being poured out to His children.
"Of His fullness have we ALL received, and grace for grace." (John 1:16)
Now, the words "be strong" come from the Greek endunamoo.
That means to enable, or increase.
The grace is THERE!
Open the faucet, and open it FULL!
"Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus!" (2Tim. 2:1)
Christian, since you have received Christ, you have received, and are receiving, grace!
He has grace to cleanse, strengthen, enlighten, enliven, and restore.
Therefore, spend much time kneeling before the "Throne of grace," (Heb. 4:16)
in order to have firm standing in your life.
Pour out yourself to Him, and
He will pour Himself into you!
Then, you can do it (live life) HIS way!
