When each individual in the church looks UPWARD to Christ
for guidance, and OUTWARD to others for ministry, then
there is unity.
And, with unity there is power!

Acts 2:46-47
46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple,
and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat
with gladness and singleness of heart,
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people.
And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Light from the Word.
The Scripture above describes the first church.
They ate together in genuine fellowship.
They rejoiced with each other in/about God’s wonderful salvation.
They were sincere in serving one another and carrying the Gospel
to others.
They praised the Lord together.
Their sincerity in serving Jesus brought “favour” with everyone.
They thought on a higher plane.
They looked to Jesus for ministry to each other AND to others.
They looked to each other and others as opportunities to
minister in His Name.
And notice what God DID!
”And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.”
Unity IN Christ and FOR Christ brings POWER from God!
