"UNLEARNING"
UNLEARNING is often just as important
for change than learning.
And unlearning is more difficult.

But we all, with open face beholding as in a
glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into
the same image from glory to glory, even as
by the Spirit of the Lord.

The old saying goes: Old habits die hard.
So, for becoming a Christian putting off the
old man and putting on the new man is really
more difficult than it seems.
Eph. 4:22-24 says,
22 "That ye put off concerning the former
conversation the old man, which is
corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which
after God is created in righteousness and
true holiness."
When the worm changes to a butterfly, it
has to LET GO of the cocoon in order to
FLY!
The truly regenerated Christian must begin
the work of learning the ways of Christ,
and putting those new ways in his/her life.
We can only do that "with open face
beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord."
By reading and studying the Bible, we will
find how to replace old ways with new ones.
Then, we who are sinners all, can be
regenerated and transformed into the
"glory of the Lord!"
UNlearn the old; LEARN the new!
