THROUGH THE BIBLE IN THREE YEARS
In this world I have found a truth:
Just as I think to have found the “key” to success,
someone changes the lock!

2 John 4
I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth,
as we have received a commandment from the Father.

LIGHT from the WORD.
Just as the “elect lady and her children,” to whom this epistle is written,
Christians should be “walking in truth.”
Peripateo (per-ee-pat-eh'-o) is the Greek word from which
“walking” is translated.
It means to walk around in, or be preoccupied with.
He says it is a “commandment from the Father”
for us to “walk” in truth.
In fact Jesus said, “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him
must worship him in spirit and in truth.” (See John 4:24)
Jesus also prayed that God would “Sanctify” His disciples
“through thy truth:” for “Thy word is truth.” (See John 17:17)
The truth of God’s Word tells us:
*we are constant sinners which is painful, and brings humility to our souls;
*we can be forgiven at His feet in repentance which is good news indeed;
*we can be accepted in Christ which gives us irrefutable hope.
The truth of God’s Word tells us our entire nature is changed
upon surrender to Jesus!
THIS is the “truth” by which we should LIVE!
It becomes the FOCUS of our life!
And it is by THIS truth that we are changed, little by little,
“from glory unto glory!”(See 2Cor. 3:18)
Are you WALKING IN TRUTH?
If so, you are being changed, little by little, each day!
Love ya!
